We’re glad to announce the availability of Outpost Pro (2009) 6.7 release candidate within Agnitum’s beta program. This iteration should be finalized in a couple of weeks.
Generally speaking, Outpost 6.7 adds beta-phase compaibility with Windows 7, enhances the capabilities of content filtration and further masters Agnitum’s acclaimed host protection. Also the version brings along a few improvements, such as, just to name a few:
• Windows Firewall now disabled after Outpost 6.7 installation
• Quick Tune plug-in now available in Internet Explorer on x64 platforms
• Updates now work when default proxy was changed
• Transit packets are OK for opening web pages on VMWare
• Packets are not blocked if using Internet Connection Sharing
Outpost Pro (2009) 6.7 can be installed on Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, Windows Server 2008 (incl. all x-64 versions) - and Windows 7 RC.
