After looking at the Spam Monitor anti-spam software program, we think they’re a decent choice, but they don’t top our list.
We liked the automatic update tool, the automatic configuration wizard, and black/whitelist capabilities, which are pretty common when comparing their software program to the competition.

Our team didn’t necessarily like how long it took toopen ourMicrosoft Outlook, as well as important emails. We don’t think an anti-spam software program should slow you down in this aspect. The Bayesian filtering feature is good, if you have the time to guide its settings to accomodate the emails you need. Otherwise, you might not receive all legitimate emails. This is not that impressive. But, there is a free trial available here, so you can get a feel for it yourself before purchasing a one-computer license for $29.95. Overall, they earned 5.0 Stars!

 Star Reviews found that one of SpamBully anti-spam software’s best characteristic is that you can completely customize its features. For instance, you can:
- Automatically have all spam deleted instead.
- Send a password to unrecognized senders that they must manually key in to reach your inbox
- Avenge spammers by returning their messages, thereby making them deal with their own spam, and reporting their practices to the FTC
If all the customizations weren’t enough, this anti-spam software provides you in-depth, detailed information about each and every email you receive. This information helps you can better understand how their anti-spam software decides to allow an email in or not, and enables you to tell it what rules to continue and which ones to modify. Star Reviews learned that SpamBully anti-spam software provides the following information about the emails that come to you: IP address, country, character set and mechanism by which SpamBully accepts or rejects emails. Even better, Spam Bully reviews your email’s links, and tracks web pages that point to spam, and their anti-spam software conducts real-time black hole list checks to identify mass spam senders and removes them from your incoming messages.
SpamBully’s anti-spam software may be a bit cumbersome to some and a dream come true for others. Using SpamBully takes a bit of set up, but this software proves to be highly effective if you take the time. Star Reviews wasn’t that impressed with their customer support. Phone support was non-existent. With a detailed anti-spam software like this, you need great support. Star Reviews gives SpamBully a rating of 5.0 Stars.

 When Star Reviews compared anti-spam software, we looked into how many email accounts can have anti-spam protection and at what cost. Choice Mail One allows you to protect an unlimited number of email accounts in any format for $39.95. Better yet, Choice Mail One anti-spam software is a customizable management system. Their prices are higher than most, but well worth it if you have multiple email accounts.Choice Mail One’s site was awfully bland, but didn’t pose a problem during purchasing. Similarly, our download went quick and we were up and running in about 10 minutes. Choice Mail One anti-spam software gives you the tools to manage your inbox, allowing you to decide which emails come through and which do not. If you like having control, this is the anti-spam software for you, but setting up all your likes and dislikes can be rather daunting and time consuming.
Like most anti-spam software you can apply your contact list to your Choice Mail One account to pre-approve senders you know. Your Choice Mail One whitelist will consist of your existing inbox email addresses and any email address you send to that is new. Keep in mind that the SmartAway™ process responds only to approved senders. Your blacklist is just the opposite: You may add addresses to refuse and they immediately go to your junk mail to eventually be erased.
ChoiceMail One is a complete anti-spam software that outperforms many. Its whitelist and blacklist custom features enable you to specify exactly what you need. We found Choice Mail One’s all-encompassing features and hands-on approach to effectively keep spam and undesired in-boxers under control. The only downside to this software is their customer support. While online support was fabulous we tend to turn our nose to those that ask us to pay for phone support! We give them a rating of 4.5 Stars!
